Cary Wright, President

Cary and his wife settled in Midlothian after his Navy service in San Diego. They have a son who has played three seasons in the league. He served as the equipment manager on the board for a year before becoming the president in January 2023. He is also an assistant coach on his son’s team. Cary loves being part of this league and appreciates the commitment that the sport demands from the players, coaches, and parents. He hopes to serve MYFL on the board for years to come.

Brandi Vess, Vice President

Brandi has been involved with the league for several years as a parent of two boys who play flag and tackle and as a volunteer in various roles. She is a licensed CPA and a controller for an advertising agency in Dallas, and she co-chairs a charitable foundation that supports early childhood learning. She is also an active volunteer leader for Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, overseeing collegiate chapters in four states. She is a graduate of the Stagen ILP & The Clara Project, where she developed her leadership skills and aligned her values with her goals. She loves giving back to the communities where she works and lives, and she is an advocate for children.

Shannon Sawyer, Treasurer

Shannon Sawyer has a passion for football and community service. She moved to Midlothian three years ago with her two sons, Noah and Aiden, who are both avid players in the league. She has a background in finances and administration, and she uses her skills and experience to help with the needs of MYFL. This is her second year on the board, and she is grateful for the chance to serve our community.

Darci Woodruff, Secretary

Darci has been an active participant in the league since 2020. Her son, Max, is a dedicated football player, while her two daughters, Maci and Madeline, cheer enthusiastically for his team. As a former special education teacher, Darci strongly believes in making youth sports accessible to all children in Midlothian. Currently, Darci works for a small business in Midlothian and has a deep passion for serving her community.

Motheisia Howard, Registrar

Mo has been involved with the league for nine years! She is a Southern Cajun woman who loves LSU and the Saints, and has a passion for sports, children, and education. She serves on several committees for the Midlothian ISD, and she is a graduate of Leadership Midlothian. She is also the PTO president for JA Vitovsky Elementary, the finance director for her husband’s Cajun Spice Company, and a former teacher. She is happily married and has a daughter who enjoys cheerleading and a son who loves football. She is dedicated to giving back to her community and making MYFL better.

Chuck Melton, Equipment Manager

Charles "Chuck" Melton is a father to three beautiful children - Calvin, 12, Elizabeth "Kate", 8, and Maverick Charles, 15 months. Chuck's Lord, savior, and wife Emily have blessed him with the honor of fatherhood. He is a coach and the current equipment manager for MYFL. Chuck runs a full-time kennel business and is a stay-at-home dad, caring for his kids. Raised by his grandparents in South Dallas, one of Chuck's biggest hobbies and passions is working on and fixing vehicles. He was a mechanic for many years and hopes God will bless him with the chance to open an automotive repair shop someday.

Kristen LeBlanc, Marketing Manager

Kristen LeBlanc loves football and supporting our community’s youth. She joined MYFL as a parent and a team mom and is proud to have a family that’s deeply involved in the league. Her husband Clark coaches their son, and their daughter cheers them on. Kristen creates and manages marketing campaigns that promote and celebrate MYFL’s mission and values. Her goal is to make MYFL the best youth football league around and to inspire the next generation of football and cheer athletes.

Stephanie Rosa, Fundraising Manager

Stephanie has been on the board for a couple of years, contributing her expertise to both the cheer and football programs. Her passion lies in fundraising for football to ensure that resources are available to support the league’s activities. Thrilled to be back in action, Stephanie is a crazy, loud, and proud cheer mom who wholeheartedly embraces the football life. As a true Texas Gal, she brings her extroverted personality to the forefront, making her open to all ideas and spontaneous in her approach.

Raquel Hare, Cheer Director

Raquel Hare has a passion for cheerleading and community involvement. She has been directing cheer for four years, and she has led a committee that has improved the organization and increased the number of cheerleaders. She has also coached for five years, and she has volunteered with football to create a unified spirit. She is always smiling and willing to help, and she loves keeping the youth in a loud and proud environment.


Traci Steinert, Assistant Cheer Director

Traci has been with MYFL cheer for five years and on the cheer committee for three. She’s found tremendous joy in being an assistant coach for the Elite Panthers cheer squad. Football runs deep in their family, her husband Cory played college football and she spent Saturdays watching him or at her alma mater K-State. Traci’s favorite sports to watch are the ones her daughter Hadley and son Hudson play. She firmly believes that athletics is an important part of youth and teaches them so many values beyond how to win or lose. She hopes to inspire future cheerleaders and see MYFL and MYFL Cheer grow every year!
